StateVentures, LLC began our efforts in 1999 with the development of Maryland.com, Pennsylvania.com and NorthCarolina.com. We decided to focus on Maryland primarily and began adding city sites to the system with the inclusion of OceanCity.com, Annapolis.com, CollegePark.com, HavredeGrace.com, Hagerstown.com, SilverSpring.com. In 2004 we decided golf was a good complement to our other sites and launched MarylandGolf.com and OCgolf.com. We are launching CountryGolfTrail.com this year to complement our other sites and to help market our golf courses and promote our online reservations system site, RezEZ.com.

Online reservations was a logical next step for us to take because we have worked with hotels across the state and throughout the mid-Atlantic region to help them promote themselves and sell more rooms. In fact, a client suggested that we do online reservations back in 2000 because she understood the benefit of Maryland.com's marketing and the power of our name.

StateVentures launched our reservations system, RezEZ.com, in May of 2005. We have helped our Ocean City, Maryland clients generate well more than a million dollars in consumer direct bookings since then. We are beginning to expand RezEZ's reach into the rest of Maryland bringing our powerful booking engine, our expansive network of sites, and our successful marketing efforts to other markets. That's why we offer features like our unique reporting system that gives the property owner marketing data and a quick summary of all sales at the touch of a button. Confirmation of online reservations is easy with our automatic emails. Our system is so powerful and has so many features that users can shop among hotels and make reservations without ever having to leave the system. This leads to RezEZ's superior conversion rate.

We also believe that the hotel and B&B owner knows better than anybody about how to price their rooms to sell. We don't think that a property should be penalized with extra charges if they want to promote sales or package options. RezEZ can be used for specials, packages with add-ons, and last minute getaways without any additional charges.

Finally, we believe that our system is so valuable that we don't have to charge anything for a hotel or B&B to install and use it. We charge only after a room has been sold and used, so we don't get paid until after you do. This system is based on trust. We trust our clients to pay the nominal per reservation processing fee and our clients trust us to sell their rooms. It's that simple.
